A review of the memories from the Hawkins Wedding | June 1, 2019
We arrived in Brush, CO late morning to find the bride, Alicia, and her best gals relaxing for their hair and makeup. They gathered in Alicia's childhood home, sharing donuts, candy, and loads of laughter. The laid-back vibe set the tone that continued on throughout the entire day.
A quick drive around the section, we arrived to the mens' quarters.

As you may relate, I'm drawn to a group of friends that go wayyyy back. Spending one of the biggest days of your life with your besties means you spend your day bringing two worlds together, living it up with a full day of partying and good vibes, and you have accountability for the promises made that day in front of each of them.
The details in this wedding added sentiment and honored the family and their deep faith.
Alicia recently lost her grandfather and as a surprise to her grandmother, they restored his truck which she arrived in with her father and left in with her husband.
We all prayed against rain and thankfully were covered in a cooling overcast for the ceremony, staying dry and comfortable. Whew!
Can we take another moment to appreciate this incredible tribute to her late grandfather?!
The entire day was filled with incredible detail and sweet, personal touches. That said, the reception was my personal most favorite part! This dance floor. The lights. The taco bar. The grain bin cupcake stand that... wait for it... the BRIDE MADE HERSELF!!!!
It was an honor to be present at and capture all of the special moments of your wedding day, Robert and Alicia. Thank you for trusting me! We are wishing you a very happy and blessed future, Mr. and Mrs. Hawkins!
